This garment is traditionally worn for formal occasions such as ceremonies or rituals.
A full-length tunic can take 7-12 months to create,
and versions are available in mid-length and full-length.
Each piece is handcrafted on a traditional backstrap loom,
then adorned with embroidery.
The embroidered motif on the chest represents a rainbow,
the striped pattern signifies a caterpillar,
and the final blank space marks the end of a butterfly's life,
telling the story of a butterfly's entire journey on a single tunic.
