However, high temperatures are detrimental to all natural stones. Sterling silver may develop a slight patina over time, which is a normal phenomenon. The wax cord is durable, waterproof, and quick-drying, allowing for continuous wear. New cords may have a slight waxy feel initially; this will diminish with wear, becoming smoother and more lustrous over time. Wearing: Avoid contact with moisture and chemicals. It is not recommended to wear jewelry while showering or exercising, as prolonged exposure can dull the metal and natural stones or lead to residue buildup. Please temporarily remove your jewelry before entering hot springs, swimming pools, or the ocean. Apply skincare products, perfumes, and sunscreens first, and wait until they have been absorbed by the skin before putting on your jewelry. Storage: Keep dry and store in a sealed environment.
