Shimenawa are ropes woven from straw, traditionally hung on shrine torii gates to signify the separation between the divine and the human realm. When hung on doors, entrances, or displayed indoors during the New Year, they symbolize warding off misfortune and attracting good luck.
They are also found adorning the surroundings of events like weddings and funerals, or even hung in cars, all imbued with the wish for auspiciousness.
- The main flowers used are Sola wood flowers, crafted with preserved and dried florals.
- Dimensions: Width 12cm, Height 15cm.
Please note that due to handmade creation and the natural variations in flower arrangements, dimensions may have a slight error of up to 5cm.
