TAPANI: 3952G.O.A.T - Named after an ancient place name in Yujing, Tainan, Taiwan, this is a premium writing essential. Carefully selected Purpleheart wood with a high-definition, high-gloss surface treatment. The high-definition, high-gloss process involves repeatedly applying transparent lacquer and polishing until the pores formed by the wood grain over time are filled with lacquer, requiring dozens of applications. This technique creates a smoother surface, enhancing the writing feel and making the exquisite wood grain more three-dimensional and distinct. It also makes the surface easier to maintain, protecting the wooden body from accidental ink stains, though this process incurs higher costs. Both the high-definition, high-gloss and standard finishes have their own charm, catering to different tastes. The 3952G.O.A.T fountain pen is sincerely offered to you, and we appreciate your support. The high-definition, high-gloss finish resembles the luster of wood trim in luxury car interiors, so polished it reflects light, offering a particularly substantial feel. Most finishes on the market are simply polished or waxed; such meticulous treatment is rare (natural grain, premium quality, randomly selected). The pen features an airtight cap with flame pattern engraving, grey chrome/antique bronze plated fittings and accessories, and a spring-loaded clip engraved with the 3952 brand LOGO.
This pen is available with two accessory color options: grey chrome for a subtle, understated look, and antique bronze for an elegant, vintage aesthetic. Please select your preferred color before placing your order. Thank you.

Hand-adjusted Calligraphy Nib:
1. For calligraphy nibs, it is generally recommended to dip the nib in ink and use it for a period before using a converter.
2. If you experience skipping with a converter, check your grip angle. Ensure both iridium points are simultaneously touching the paper; do not write with one side only. If skipping persists, check the nib for paper fibers or debris.
3. Try filling ink directly by removing the converter.
4. Rinse the nib. If you write with one iridium point consistently or apply excessive pressure, it can cause misalignment of the iridium points, leading to scratching and paper debris accumulation in the slit.
5. Calligraphy nibs are adjusted from EF nibs to have a curved tip. Line variation is achieved not by pressing down, but by the angle of your grip, utilizing the nib's curvature to create different line widths. Holding the pen more upright reduces the contact area with the paper, resulting in thinner lines. The more you tilt the pen, the larger the contact area, producing thicker lines. The ability to write with varying line widths depends on your skill and practice.
In response to environmental protection, we do not proactively provide paper bags. If you require one for gifting, please specify this in the remarks after placing your order. Thank you.

Note: Regularly wipe and maintain the inside of the pen body and cap. When at rest, do not store the nib pointing downwards for extended periods.
Warm Reminder: When writing, do not press down on the nib or write with it angled to the left or right (for right-handed users, it is recommended to hold the nib at approximately the 10 or 11 o'clock position) to avoid accidental misalignment of the iridium points, which can cause scratching and skipping. The nib should be rinsed with clean water regularly to prevent ink clogs that affect writing quality.
Friendly Tip: The antique bronze plated fittings require regular wiping and maintenance. Over time, with frequent contact and hand sweat, they will oxidize to a more antique bronze color, resembling an antique.
