What is Wannian Red: Wannian Red paper undergoes a special surface treatment to resist fading, hence its name. It is available in both handmade and machine-made varieties. While its fade-resistant quality is highly valued, the primary drawback of Wannian Red is its thinness, making it prone to tearing. Improvements in the "Luxury Edition Couplets": Meihao Yiri Studio has laminated the thin-gauge Wannian Red paper with 240g eco-friendly red cardstock, significantly enhancing the durability and resilience of the couplet paper!
