I have special door weights (stoppers) at home, they serve for the doors to not close during drafts. It may be surprising but they inspired me. My stoppers are made in the form of cute toys, and one day I saw that they were arranged all in a row at home: first a fox, then a chicken, and then a dog. Looking from the side, you would think that the fox pretended to be asleep and was observing the chicken, but the dog was also keeping a sharp eye on the chicken, guarding it from the fox. At that moment I thought it's a perfect plot for the painting. All the characters in my picture are the same as they are - toys, so the dollhouse appeared, and its owners also looks like rag dolls, and the painting itself turned out like to be made of colored shreds.
