Bent ear posts: Sterling silver is soft, so slight bending is normal and not a defect. 6. Minor unevenness in set gems or slight excess glue: Uneven or bumpy gem settings, or small areas of residual glue are not considered defects. 7. Slight differences in metal welding points, minor scratches or small bumps on the plated surface are not considered defects. 8. Freshwater pearls, natural stones, synthetic stones: Variations in size, pattern, and color due to the natural texture and mineral inclusions of the materials are normal and not considered defects. 9.
