Every step, from clay preparation and shaping to bisque firing, glazing, and final firing, is done by hand. The base of the cup will be sanded smooth before shipping. I continuously explore new combinations of glazes and clays, creating a diverse range of pottery in various colors and forms. To address this, all our tableware undergoes a waterproofing treatment with a food-safe sealant before shipping, eliminating the need for initial seasoning (me-zame). This waterproofing process requires 2-3 days, hence our shipping timeframe of 5 days from order placement. If you prefer not to have the waterproofing treatment applied, please inform us at the time of purchase. - Cutlery shown in product images is not included. - Product images are edited to be as true to the actual item as possible.
