The ruler surface is blackened and then polished bright, and is joined to the animal's body with rivets, creating a fine texture. It functions as both a ruler and a bookmark. ⊕ When reading at home, you can let the animal figure peek out from the pages, as if a small creature is accompanying your reading. If you plan to use it in a planner or book to take outside, you can then clip the entire bookmark within the pages. This protects the delicate animal silhouette from bending or damage.
