Volume: 15ml Paper used for swatch: Tomoe River Paper This ink emphasizes chromatography. On highly absorbent paper, a sky-blue border appears, with light brown in the center. Recommended papers: Tomoe River, MD Paper, Kraft Paper. [s] Even tissue paper can yield astonishing results![s] The symbol is the lily. The aim is to evoke the feeling of a lily. This ink has a lighter color, not ideal for everyday use. It's recommended for broad brush strokes to best showcase the chromatography. *************************************** Sheen is the metallic sheen that forms when the ink dries. Shading refers to the tonal variations during writing. Chromatography is the colorful gradient that appears after the ink is applied. All ink effects are inherent and achieved without external force or dilution. Ink Precautions: This is a handmade ink, created from scratch using imported cosmetic-grade dyes from the UK. Please understand the nature of handmade inks; they may differ from commercially available branded inks. Color reproduction may not be exact, even for re-releases. As handmade inks cannot match commercial standards for preservatives and other additives due to their more natural composition, it is best to avoid drawing ink directly into fountain pens or using dip pens without caution to prevent contamination and potential mold growth. Please be aware that untreated tap water contains unseen bacteria that, while generally harmless, can cause changes in the ink over time. If using a dip pen, ensure the pen is thoroughly dried after washing or use distilled or boiled water as your rinse. ----------------------------- All inks undergo the following tests: Settling → Filtration → Filling into an F-nib fountain pen → Settling for one month. Images have been adjusted to minimize paper color influence, but ink color may vary due to screen settings, photography techniques, paper type, and pen width used. Returns or exchanges due to color discrepancies are not accepted. ------------------------------ This ink contains gold shimmer. My handmade inks use pearl powder with a mesh size of 800 or higher. It may not compare in shimmer intensity to other handmade inks that emphasize glitter. Fountain pens with F-nib or larger can be used for temporary ink filling. However, please refrain from using them with high-value fountain pens. All inks are formulated without binders. If you desire a thicker consistency for easier use with dip pens, Arabic gum powder is available for purchase in the add-on section. It is common knowledge that adding glitter to fountain pens carries a risk of clogging. If the pen will be left unused for extended periods, clean the ink thoroughly to prevent blockages. If you wish to ink a fountain pen without glitter, do not shake the bottle; draw ink only from the top layer. The gold shimmer may rub off when touched after the ink has dried. For preserved artwork, it is recommended to apply a protective art sealant spray. Do not mix my handmade inks with each other, as this may cause sedimentation. ----------------------------- The fragrances used in the inks are food-grade flavorings. The scent is primarily noticeable during writing and does not persist on paper long-term. **Ink is a liquid and cannot be shipped internationally directly. Please do not checkout directly.
