Using two strands of fine-count yarn, it is gently handwoven. Unlike machine-woven products, it is airy, fluffy, and soft, with a smooth texture that drapes lightly. The warp is a soft ivory, and the weft is a deep mulberry color, woven into a delicate and complex pattern. It deepens in redness in sunlight and takes on a purplish hue under white light. In Japanese traditional colors, it is a beautiful shade close to "Grape Color" (Budō-iro). The weaving pattern and color appear differently on the front and back, allowing for various expressions depending on how you wear it.
