Residing in Taiwan, they work diligently in a vintage apartment in Taipei, creating and bringing stamps to life. Previously working as an editor for magazines and books at a publishing house, they now exclusively design and produce stamps. Each season, new handmade art stamps are released, with their collected works published in volumes no. 1-8, featuring over 100 unique stamps. Published books include: "A Handmade Life in 12 Hours a Week," "Rubber Stamps, Open the Door!," and "12 Lessons for Beginner Rubber Stampers: Next Stamp Class." Primarily using erasers as the carving material, each stamp is meticulously crafted, stroke by stroke. Stamp designs often draw inspiration from everyday life discoveries, landscapes and encounters during travels, and cherished objects and interests (incorporating elements like text / flora / geometry / nature / architecture...). These are then deconstructed and reassembled, with layered points, lines, and planes, accented by minimalist primary and secondary lines, foreign text, and personal symbolic notations to form the stamp imagery. The artist enjoys combining stamps and colors, orchestrating unique solo performances and collaborative arrangements between large and small stamps, as well as through repetition. Many graphic designs are derived from fragments of stamps, extended through printing and combination techniques (e.g., for postcards/washi tape).
