❍ About This Piece From the washbasin to the work desk, we wanted to create a soap dish that is truly practical and beautiful. Through our own use, we slowly explored and adjusted, creating a simple form with a touch of ingenuity. It perfectly holds a bar of soap and allows water to drain away just right. Not flashy, but truly functional. We chose ceramic clay, a type of clay with slightly coarse particles. The finished pieces are not as delicate as porcelain, but they possess a natural simplicity and honesty that you can feel with your hands and see with your eyes. The surface may have some specks of color, pinholes, or small glaze cracks. These are not flaws, but rather natural marks formed during the process. ❍ Material Ceramic clay, glaze ❍ Dimensions The soap dish is specifically designed for handmade soaps, measuring approximately 8 × 6 × 2.5 cm. The size is just right, allowing your soap to rest securely and be used with ease. (Each piece is handmade, so dimensions may vary slightly.) ❍ Craftsmanship Each piece is fired at high temperatures twice, ensuring durability. Occasional pinholes, natural glaze variations, or fine crack lines on the surface are characteristics naturally formed by the ceramic material and the firing process. As handmade ware, the curvature and glaze distribution of each piece will vary slightly, which is part of its unique character. ❍ Packaging & Sustainability All our shipments are packaged using recycled bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. It may not be the most exquisite packaging, but for us, allowing every resource to be reused is the better choice.
