Year of the Snake Calligraphy Red Envelopes

The calligraphers participating in this design project are: Wei Yi-An, first prize winner in the elementary school (lower-to-mid grades) category, whose art blends traditional calligraphy with contemporary elements; Wang Cheng-Yang, first prize winner in the elementary school (upper grades) category, whose fluid brushstrokes and intricate designs offer a harmonious fusion of classical and modern aesthetics; and Luo He-Jia, first prize winner in the junior and senior high school category, known for their solid brushwork and vivid, powerful creations. Additionally, Gu Yuan-Chi, first prize winner in the senior category, has infused his designs with elements of Eastern philosophy, imbuing each stroke with profound meaning, resulting in red envelopes and calendars rich with cultural resonance. Finally, Yan Guo-Shun, first prize winner in the university and social group category, predominantly uses a hybrid script of seal and clerical styles, perfectly merging traditional beauty with modern minimalist sensibilities.
