This is a bracelet strung with Mizoram & Ancient Carnelian, Ancient Crystal, Old Chin Silver & Orissa Brass, Old Indian Silver Charms, and Mixed Blue Antique Beads. The slightly deep orange beads are Mizoram Carnelian, passed down from around the 18th century, originating from the state of Mizoram in eastern India. Their color variations give them a wonderfully expressive character! (Mizoram Carnelian bead size: 0.6cm width, 0.7cm diameter) The pale orange beads are Ancient Carnelian. The multi-faceted orange beads are also Ancient Carnelian, sourced from eastern Nepal. These are very old stone beads, dating back approximately 2000 years. The round Ancient Crystal beads come from Pakistan and are from the Roman era, around 1500 years ago. While they have some scratches, these only add to their profound charm. The mixed blue beads that primarily connect the piece are old Venetian beads that found their way to the Naga tribe in India. Their color is truly exquisite, and their translucence intensifies their allure when held up to the light!! The golden beads and the small charm next to the Ancient Crystal are old Orissa Brass, rare and old beads from the state of Orissa in India. The round charm near the clasp is also old brass from India. The plump silver beads are exceptionally rare Old Chin Silver, passed down from around the 18th-19th century, originating from Burma. These were used by Chin women for necklaces and display a unique wear and endearing marks. Their substantial feel and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though modern pieces can also be stylish...). These antique beads have seen a significant price increase in recent years. The amber-colored beads near the clasp are called White Hearts because of their white cores. Antique White Hearts (19th-20th century) are becoming truly scarce. They possess a rich hue and a captivating quality with subtle color variations. The charm near the clasp is antique Indian Silver, crafted between the 19th and early 20th centuries. With frequent wear, they are expected to develop a unique sheen. It is believed to represent Hima Mata, the goddess of home safety and a symbol of maternal love. (Likely...)
