Dark-colored foods may cause staining over time, which is also part of the glaze's unique characteristic. *Fine Crackling (Kintsugi Effect): - Also known as "craquelure" or "ice crackle," these fine lines appear on the glaze surface due to the different shrinkage rates of the ceramic body and the glaze. The cracks are confined to the glaze layer; the ceramic body itself is flawless. Some cracks may appear within a week of firing, while others might emerge years later, influenced by environmental factors and temperature changes.
