We've paired elegant Japanese patterned pottery shards with freshwater pearls. Kintsugi is applied to the sides of the pottery shards, so the gold accents are visible from the side, adding a touch of refinement. This work uses a modern, simplified Kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional Kintsugi using tree sap from the lacquer tree, this process uses adhesive for the main bonding.
