Shoebill Embroidery Brooch or Embroidery Hair Tie

This is an embroidery of a shoebill, famous for being a bird that doesn't move. It is characterized by its sharp eyes and large beak. I remember being surprised by how still it was when I saw one at Ueno Zoo several years ago. The back of the brooch is made with felt, faux leather, and a brooch pin. The hair tie is made with faux leather. They make a lovely accent not only on clothing but also on bags and hats. They also pair well with casual outfits.
