These hands yearn to reconnect with the enduring legacy of Taiwanese traditional craftsmanship. 【A handcrafted wooden pen undergoes ten meticulous steps】 Material selection, stock preparation, drilling, alignment, core insertion, lathing, sanding, finishing, assembly, and testing. The finished product offers a warmth and tactile richness distinct from cold metal or plastic pens, making it a joy to hold. Finishes are applied based on the unique characteristics of each wood type: 【Hand-mixed Shellac Wax】 A natural resin extracted from trees inhabited by lac insects. 【Wood Wax Oil】 Coated twice with natural wood wax oil made from beeswax by a local Taiwanese brand, "Luban Coatings." This finish has passed rigorous testing, including US FDA food-grade standards, SGS, formaldehyde, and heavy metal tests, ensuring peace of mind as you write and hold your pen. Packaging includes an eco-friendly paper box (cement gray), a leather pen sleeve, a non-woven pen sleeve, two refills (one installed in the pen), and a product information card.
