We reuse broken or chipped ceramic pieces that are no longer in use, and by applying kintsugi, we transform them into accessories. The concept behind these pieces is to allow people to feel closer to nature and Japan's enduring traditions, transforming them into modern accessories that connect to the future and create new possibilities. We've paired elegant ceramic fragments, subtly showing a leaf pattern, with freshwater pearls. They dangle beautifully with every movement, exuding a refined charm. The sides of the ceramic fragments are adorned with kintsugi, so the gold accents shine even from the side, adding a touch of sophistication. These are perfect as a unique accent for both casual and elegant outfits. This work uses a modern, simplified kintsugi technique. Unlike traditional urushi lacquer made from the sap of the lacquer tree, this method uses adhesive for the bonding itself.
