【Author Introduction】
Mindi
A graduate of the Department of Economics at National Tsing Hua University, and the founder of the international news platform "Mindi Select Reads™".
She excels at conveying her observations of international dynamics to others in a witty and humorous manner. Her unique ability to make international news both engaging and insightful has garnered a large following. In 2019, she launched a podcast, a dedicated website, and an app, continuing to deliver international news to Chinese-speaking audiences through text and audio.
In 2022 and 2023, she released the "International Observation Calendar" for two consecutive years, introducing various countries around the world to Taiwanese people, with the aim of promoting international news in families and schools. She uses an easy-to-understand approach to guide the public in comprehending international events, sparking interest in international news, and subsequently learning to interpret global affairs to optimize decision-making in life or work.
In 2023, Mindi was invited by the U.S. Department of State to visit the United States for 11 days alongside foreign media representatives. During this trip, she realized the strong curiosity and importance the international community places on Taiwan. Upon her return, she began managing YouTube and Instagram short video content, with her next goal being to bring pro-Taiwan voices back to Taiwan.
