This process creates a fabric that offers "lightness" and "softness," and a relaxed, natural texture that embraces "aging" rather than "deterioration," which we cherish. As we use shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving imperfections" may appear, which can look like minor "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we maintain rigorous quality control at our factory. We also strive to avoid these imperfections during fabric cutting and, if found, use them in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it's impossible to eliminate them entirely.
