The three chipmunk siblings are here to usher in the spring and New Year, making your celebrations more adorable and fun with these special red envelopes. These Year of the Rat red envelopes, from the initial design concept to plate carving and hand printing, are all personally completed by the designer. Crafted using traditional letterpress techniques, with entirely hand-drawn illustrations and hand-carved plates, printed in small batches by hand. This year, we designed one illustration available in two versions: One version features only black linework and a subtle patterned background. The other version incorporates a golden yellow gradient, black linework, and a plain background. Slight variations in the edges are to be expected with handcrafted items, and they won't be perfectly identical like machine-made products. - The ink used for printing is "oil-based" letterpress ink. Once dry, it is water-resistant. If it accidentally comes into contact with water, simply let the red envelope air dry naturally, and the design will not smudge. - To prevent creasing during shipping, your order will be packaged with reinforced cardboard. - This is a pre-order item, as the ink requires 4-5 days to dry completely.
