The face is painted with pastels and Acrylic, the hair is made of embroidery thread, and the hair ornament is a tsumami- flower lover that is attached like a hat. This cannot be removed, but the collar ornament of the costume can be removed. The lower half of the fish body is made of old silk crepe "Kinsha" The vintage fabric used has an auspicious pattern centered around waves, with some flower lover and bamboo patterns. The fins are trimmed with Ise kumihimo, and all the threads and accessories were selected to match the atmosphere of the vintage fabric. The amount of old cloth is limited, and the scraps used in this production have a small area, making it difficult to get the same pattern and therefore impossible to create two identical pieces.
