1. As these are handmade items, slight glue overflow where the embossed glass meets the wooden frame is normal and not a defect.
2. The Canadian Hinoki Cypress used is naturally rich in oil, providing excellent moisture and pest resistance. (Currently shipped after staining and application of natural wood oil.)
