Detailed Introduction
The caste system is an ancient social hierarchy, with India's caste culture being the most prominent example. This culture is built upon the Hindu concept of reincarnation. The caste system comprises four main tiers, dividing Indians by social rank: Brahmins (priests), Kshatriyas (warriors), Vaisyas (merchants and farmers), and Sudras (laborers or servants). Significant disparities exist in marriage, legal rights, social welfare, and status based on one's caste.
After India gained independence from British rule in 1947, the caste system was legally abolished. Discrimination based on caste is now illegal. However, the influence of the caste system can still be observed in daily life. Despite this, the Indian government, having experienced multiple changes in administration and even electing two Dalit presidents, continues its efforts toward democracy and equal human rights to dismantle the deeply ingrained caste system in the minds of many Indians.
# Flip Socks Design Inspiration
The inspiration comes from traditional Indian henna art. Henna (Mehendi in Hindi) refers to the henna plant. It traveled from Egypt to the Middle East five thousand years ago and then to India, where it became a symbol of auspiciousness and blessings, playing an indispensable role in traditional Indian festivals and weddings. In early India, henna was applied by those of lower castes to people of higher status. However, as times changed, henna art evolved into a craft that anyone, regardless of age or profession, can learn.
The overall design is inspired by the tangible image of Ganesha, the god of wisdom. Elements include the traditional motif of the Mandala, which signifies the center of all things and a symbol of the entire universe. FLIPPOS firmly believes that human conviction stems from thought, so we have incorporated Sahasrara, the crown chakra that opens wisdom and enhances thinking, into the imagery. This is paired with Ganesha's lotus seat, symbolizing a pure heart and the happiness that comes from constant gratitude. When the socks are flipped, the originally light color becomes the main body, symbolizing that henna has been painted onto our skin, spiritually and psychologically bestowing us with energy, joy, and good fortune.
**WHY FLIPPOS?**
The initial idea behind FLIPPOS Flip Socks was to create a pair of all-around compression socks suitable for office wear, which could then be worn for sports after work, allowing for a single pair to be worn throughout the day.
Considering that modern work often involves prolonged sitting or standing, leading to discomfort in the feet and calves, these compression socks apply "graduated pressure" from the soles of the feet to the calves to alleviate this condition.
Furthermore, wearing Flip Socks during exercise can effectively reduce muscle oscillation, generate greater athletic power, and enhance recovery speed after physical activity.
Flip the Length, Flip the Attitude
To accommodate any occasion and any outfit, Flip Socks feature a unique reversible design. They can be worn just below the knee or folded down to the calf, transforming long socks into short socks in an instant.
★ Length before flipping: Below the knee
★ Length after flipping: 18cm above the ankle
FLIPPOS Maze Cushioning Plus (MCP) System
The relentless pursuit of product perfection is FLIPPOS' ultimate goal. This time, we have upgraded our original exclusive maze sole, enhancing the "knitted maze damping" on the sole of the foot.
Both the softness and the rebound speed have been significantly improved. Therefore, during running, jumping, or hiking, the remarkable shock absorption effect ensures that energy is not lost, and athletic power is fully released.

FLIP-Lite Series
To cope with increasingly extreme climates, FLIPPOS has reduced the thickness of the Flip Socks by 30% through different weaving methods and designs. Simultaneously, the proportion of mesh fabric across the entire sock surface has been increased, making them feel like a second skin—lighter, more breathable, and providing the comforting embrace of graduated compression during daily life or exercise.

Compression Level
FLIPPOS Flip Socks have a compression level of 15-25 mmHg, which is suitable for daily use and not considered a medical device, thus not requiring medical certification.
Applicable Scenarios
Daily wear, before and after sports (running, cycling, skateboarding, hiking, strength training, etc.), travel, long-haul flights, or for improving leg discomfort during and after pregnancy.
Material
Egyptian Cotton Feel & Silver Ion
The primary material of Flip Socks is a blend of tech nylon and Lycra. This material is four times more expensive than regular combed cotton and its main functions are quick-drying, moisture-wicking, and a feel comparable to Egyptian cotton. Additionally, silver ion deodorizing technology is incorporated into the sole, which does not diminish in effectiveness over time or with washing.
85% Tech Nylon
7% Lycra
4% Cotton
2% Spandex
2% Silver Fiber / Deodorizing
Washing Instructions
Hand washing is the best method to prolong the product's lifespan; avoid vigorous rubbing or friction.
If machine washing, it is recommended to turn the socks inside out and place them in a laundry bag. Use water temperature below 30°C and a neutral detergent (pH between 6-8).
Do not use bleach, fluorescent whitening agents, fabric softeners, or soak for extended periods in sports-specific detergents.
Avoid powder detergents, as they can clog the micro-gaps in the socks, diminishing their functionality.
If you are concerned about your laundry detergent causing color fading, wash separately.
Wash dark and light colors separately. Do not soak or dry clean.
Avoid direct sunlight and tumble drying; air drying is preferred.

- The Dalits (Untouchables) are excluded from India's four-tier caste system. For generations, they have performed the lowest-ranking jobs. Among India's current population of 1.36 billion, at least 200 million are still considered Dalits, largely facing low social status and poverty. Dalit women, in particular, endure severe discrimination and threats to their personal safety.
