Maxi Dress -- Bright Island, Everlasting Child

Maxi Dress Imagining a length that reaches the knees or even down to the ankles. This is our first design of this kind, so we're incredibly excited about it. We began creating small samples in March, and the back-and-forth process took several months. To achieve the vision of using two yards of fabric per dress, the discussions with the pattern maker also spanned a considerable amount of time. Finally, we extended the excess length by completing it with a patchwork technique. We have a lot of cotton-linen fabric in similar colors on hand. It all came together perfectly. The feeling when worn is refreshing, long, and relaxed. Small motifs: A small island (acrylic painting) A small figure (embroidery) A touch of imagery is more than enough. /// Material: Cotton-linen The hem and the round neckline feature patchwork fabric (paired appropriately with available fabric on-site).
