The urn lid is made of Acacia wood with an inner silicone seal. The wood helps regulate humidity, and the silicone seal prevents moisture penetration. Due to Taiwan's humid climate, it is recommended to periodically open the lid to air dry or sun dry it (please assess climate conditions yourself). Once moisture permeates the ashes, it is irreversible, so please be mindful! To open the lid, firmly grasp the 'body' of the urn. When lifting or carrying the urn, always hold the 'body' securely and avoid lifting by the lid alone, as the weight of the contents could cause the lid to detach and break!
