Embroidered patches are commonly known as fabric patches, iron-on patches, or embroidered appliqués. However, most embroidered patches require ironing to adhere them to fabric or to cover holes in clothing. Our embroidered patches feature an adhesive backing that sticks without ironing, making them suitable for smooth, non-fabric surfaces. They are perfect as stickers for water bottles, phone cases, laptops, notebooks, pencil cases, helmets, suitcases, and more! Let's create something unique with our patches! 🏷 How do I use the embroidered patches? Using our embroidered patches is simple! ▪️ For smooth, non-fabric surfaces: Peel off the backing and stick. No ironing needed, and they stay put! ▪️ For fabric surfaces: Preheat your iron to 150°C. Place a cloth over the patch to prevent heat damage to the embroidery threads. Iron for 20-25 seconds, then let it cool completely for a secure bond. For added durability, we recommend reinforcing with needle and thread. If you don't have an iron, sewing them on with a sewing machine or by hand will also ensure a strong attachment! 🏷 What if I can't iron or I'm unsure if the fabric can be ironed? For materials that cannot be ironed (e.g., down jackets, nylon, leather, waterproof fabric) or if you're uncertain, we recommend sewing the patches on with a sewing machine or by hand. This prevents high heat from damaging your fabric. 🏷 How strong is the adhesive on the embroidered patches? Will they fall off easily? Our embroidered patches have a strong adhesive that adheres well to general smooth, non-fabric surfaces and is not prone to peeling off. If applying to fabric (clothing, pants, hats, etc.), please iron them on and reinforce with sewing for increased durability. 🏷 Will the embroidered patches come off easily after washing? Once ironed on and reinforced with sewing, the embroidered patches can withstand machine washing and are unlikely to come off. We suggest washing them inside out in a laundry bag. 🏷 Can embroidered patches be reapplied? The adhesive backing on our embroidered patches is for single use and cannot be reapplied. We recommend confirming the placement before sticking them on! If you peel them off after application, the embroidered fabric itself can still be sewn onto fabric for decoration. 🏷 Will there be adhesive residue after removing the embroidered patches? Due to the strong adhesive, some residue may be left behind when the patches are removed. This residue can be cleaned with sticker removers or adhesive solvents. Please test the remover on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it is suitable for your item's surface material and will not cause damage.
