Material Information: The 14k gold-filled material extensively used by mixandfun features a layer of 1/20 14k gold electroplated onto a brass base. This is a popular choice in recent years, known for being relatively easy to care for, maintaining its color for longer, and being more accessible in price compared to solid 14k gold. Solid 14k gold, on the other hand, is entirely composed of 14k gold throughout, with a gold content of approximately 58.5%, complemented by silver, iron, or copper. In Taiwan's climate, solid 14k gold is even easier to maintain and offers a more delicate color presentation. It is also a suitable option for those with sensitive skin. Our specially electroplated alloy is another material we frequently use. It involves selecting unplated chains that we personally love and then applying a unique plating process. Under normal wear conditions, the color of these pieces is designed to be long-lasting. Wearing Precautions: 1. Please "dress" your jewelry before putting it on and remove it before changing into loungewear at home. It is not recommended to wear jewelry while bathing, soaking in hot springs, or swimming. 2. For earrings, we recommend using the provided silicone stoppers to reduce the chance of loss. 3. Given Taiwan's warm and humid climate, if you plan to store your jewelry for an extended period, it's advisable to gently wipe it with a soft cloth before placing it in a sealed bag. 4. For delicate chains, developing the habit of clasping the ends together when removing them can help prevent tangles. 5. Over time, pieces made with 14k gold-filled, solid 14k gold, or our special alloy will show signs of wear. We appreciate your understanding. 6. A little maintenance tip: If you notice oxidation, don't worry. Prepare a bowl with water, a pinch of salt, and a small piece of aluminum foil. Submerge your solid gold or sterling silver jewelry for about 10 minutes, then remove and dry. It should regain its shine. (Note: Material compositions can vary between brands. Dip an old toothbrush in a small amount of toothpaste and gently brush the piece for about half a minute. Rinse with clean water, and it should sparkle again.
