The handmade dessert gift box contains three winter flavors. Behind each dessert is a persistence that has taken root in Hong Kong over the years. Sandianshui uses natural, additive-free flour from the Kowloon Flour Mill, and uses seasonal spices grown in "Er'ao", "Rural Grass Practice" and "Vegetable Garden Agriculture Pioneer Field" in its dishes, connecting you both inside and outside the city through food.

Local Gingerbread Man: a local ginger punch
The local gingerbread men are spicy in the mouth and hit the throat with ginger, making them a great snack to warm up in winter. The chef also adds top-grade Vietnamese cinnamon for decoration, and adds Canadian organic maple syrup to make the gingerbread delicious but not dry, rich and sweet. Ginger can dispel cold and warm the stomach. Give your relatives, friends and loved ones a gift to heal the five internal organs this winter.
The gingerbread man uses organic ginger powder from Er O. Er O Village is located in the northwest of Lantau Island, Hong Kong and has a history of more than 200 years. Since 2012, former villagers have returned to the village to resume farming and established the "Er'ao Farming Cooperative" to promote local agricultural products. Er'ao organic ginger powder is produced by the Er'ao Farming Cooperative.
Perilla Lemon Almond Cookies: A Bite of Local Perilla Aftertaste
Perilla Lemon Almond Cookies are made from perilla that is harvested in autumn and summer. Set against the background of American almonds and organic lemon oil, the lingering fragrance of perilla lingers for a long time. People often mistakenly think that perilla is cold. In fact, perilla has the functions of relieving the surface and dispersing cold, promoting qi and neutralization, anti-inflammatory and sterilizing. It is a delicious and very healthy food.
Organic perilla comes from two local organic farms - "Pioneer Field" and "Xiancao Xizuo". Pioneer Field in Pat Heung is one of the few farms in Hong Kong that implements organic and compassionate farming methods. Over the years, it has retained a fertile field where animals and insects can be associated with each other, connecting the community with seasonal ingredients and practicing sustainable living; and Fanling’s rural grass practice Rebecca, a local farmer woman, is in charge. She believes: "Hong Kong should have its own locally produced food and produce some better food than Hong Kong people. This makes me insist." Perilla sprouts in farmland every spring. The farmers then transplant and plant them for harvest in summer and autumn. After the perilla is dried, it is ground into powder to retain the unique fragrance of perilla.
Kowloon Flour Mill: A piece of persistence made in Hong Kong for more than half a century
The two cookies have a crunchy texture and are derived from Blue Narcissus brand zero-added special low-gluten flour produced by Hong Kong’s time-honored Kowloon Flour Mill. The Kowloon Flour Mill was founded in 1964 and has stood in Hong Kong for more than half a century. It is currently the only local flour mill that insists on grinding wheat in Hong Kong. It takes less than a month for the top-quality American and Australian wheat to arrive in Hong Kong and be ground. The fresh flour helps reduce the amount of butter in the cookie recipe, while still retaining the crispy and fluffy texture.
Blue Narcissus low-gluten flour has always been a high-quality raw material in the local high-end catering industry. During the 2019 epidemic, Kowloon Flour Mill prepared Blue Narcissus with zero additives and no bleaching (formula 2) for home baking to alleviate the epidemic food crisis and satisfy modern people's pursuit of natural and healthy food.
Three-point water snowflake cake: a variation of local craftsmanship
The three-point water snowflake cake is also served at the same time, with a rich milky taste. It is crispy at first and then soft in the mouth, without losing the rich milky aroma. We have modified the popular snowflake puff pastry recipe and added the sweet and sour taste of dried strawberries and cranberries between the nuts and crispy biscuits to create a rich and healthy dessert. Each snowflake cake is freshly made in small batches in Hong Kong and contains no colorings or preservatives.
