Due to its geographical proximity to the Southeast Asian peninsula, West Malaysian agarwood naturally carries hints of the Hui'an scent profile.
Agarwood from northern regions often subtly reveals a slightly acidic note, rich and full-bodied, reminiscent of the sweet and sour notes of dried plums.
Agarwood from southern regions tends to have a floral nuance, with a sweet and cooling aroma that soothes the mind and spirit.
As a premier producing area in the Singapore region, West Malaysian agarwood is known for its rich layers and diverse transformations.
Compared to other top-tier producing regions, its price is relatively more accessible, attracting many collectors and enthusiasts.
It inherits the elegant fragrance of Hui'an agarwood while simultaneously possessing the dark oil lines and warm, lustrous texture characteristic of Singaporean agarwood.
This achieves a delicate balance between appreciation and enjoyment.
For this reason, West Malaysian agarwood is considered a rare gem that combines aesthetic appeal with collection value.

Artist: Kwood
https://images2.imgbox.com/66/c6/wVo3QFy7_o.jpeg
Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1983, Kwood comes from a background in craft design. He once wandered the streets of Japan, experiencing how wooden art infused warm and profound vitality into ancient alleyways. These objects, like fragments of time, bearing the traces of history and the contours of the future, seek a subtle balance between opposition and harmony, transforming into delicate works that closely connect the vision of a new generation with the simplicity of the old era. Agarwood, once ground into powder for its scent, was solemnly placed in the most auspicious areas of homes in Japan, symbolizing vitality and light.
The agarwood wood comes directly from its origin, pure and flawless, untouched by artificial processes such as glue boiling, drawing lines, or added fragrances. It is presented in its most natural state. Through ancient scent-extraction techniques, the outer layers of the deadwood are meticulously peeled away by hand, revealing the true soul of the agarwood. This not only imbues it with eternal vitality but also subtly intertwines tradition and modern craftsmanship at your fingertips, creating a feast for the senses. Its rich aroma is like the condensation of time, gently drawing together memories of the past and aspirations for the future, allowing them to meet and resonate within the fragrance, extending endlessly, far-reaching, and profound.
