Although Hong Kong is small and mountainous, its landforms are rich and diverse. "Guangdong Tongzhi" is a local chronicle of the Ming and Qing dynasties. From the deeds, climate, customs, water conservancy, people, art and culture in Guangdong Province, it is recorded one by one. The "Xin'an County Map" comes from the geographical outline of Volume 83 of "Guangdong General Chronicles", which covers Hong Kong and Shenzhen in the north. In the Hong Kong part, in addition to the familiar place names such as Lung Yeuk Tau, Lei Yue Mun, and Hung Heung Lu (the general name of Hong Kong), many famous Hong Kong mountains are also painted, such as Ma On Shan, Kwa Kok Shan (Kuai Kok Shan), and Pui Ferry. Mountain (i.e. Castle Peak), Ling To Shan (i.e. Yuen Tau Shan), Kau Keng Shan, Kwun Fu Shan (i.e. Kowloon Mountains), Hu Tau Shan (i.e. Lion Rock), etc., highlighting the natural geographical features of Hong Kong's towering mountains. .
