Wood-Fired 600cc Gold-Trimmed Wood Grain Mug / Beer Mug / Handcrafted by Xiao Ping Fan - อื่นๆ - ดินเผา

รายละเอียดสินค้า

This is a mug that transforms your daily sips of water and tea into a moment of pure enjoyment. 👍 Its exterior resembles the texture of old tree bark, adorned with natural wood grain patterns. Crafted through high-temperature wood firing, each mug boasts a unique pattern and hue, offering a substantial, handmade feel rather than a cold, mass-produced object. 🌟 Generously Sized: With a large 600cc capacity, you won't need constant refills. It's ideal for coffee, generous cups of tea, or even as a beer mug. 🌟 Solid Feel: Measuring 10cm in width and 13cm in height, complemented by a comfortably rounded handle that's easy to grip, the mug feels stable and reassuring in your hand. 🌟 Comfortable Sipping: The rim is thickened and rounded, providing a remarkably smooth sensation as you drink. A wood-fired mug with a large capacity, incredibly practical! Perfect for water, tea bags, or even beer. 👍 Wood-fired pieces emit far-infrared rays, softening water and removing impurities! Its traditional rustic charm is beautiful, with a special textured design that adds depth. The natural gradient tones from the wood fire are truly captivating! Diameter: 10cm Height: 12.5cm Capacity: Approx. 600cc ----------------------------- In the 2023 5th Shanghai International Wood Firing Ceramic Competition, both artists from Xiao Ping Fan Pottery Studio, Chen Shiping and Wang Yufan, had their works selected for the Excellence Award. Each created piece possesses a unique concept and design, imbuing the pure hand-pinching or wheel-throwing process with life. Every piece is one-of-a-kind. Our studio's works are a collaboration between my husband and I, hence the "Ping" or "Fan" signatures. Some pieces also bear the "Xiao Ping Fan Pottery Studio" seal, making them truly unique!! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567264550_68d52fdae8_b.jpg **1. What is the origin of the works?** We primarily use American clay, Japanese clay, and Taiwanese Miaoli clay for our creations. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567015014_0b15931da0_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565549942_7663197885_h.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567015039_4c2a9b80e3_c.jpg **2. What is the wood-firing process?** American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The process involves pure hand-pinching (not using a potter's wheel) to gradually form the shape, followed by refining the body lines, and then polishing to complete the greenware. After entering the kiln, it undergoes a five-day, four-night continuous wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this process, natural ash deposits adhere to the work, forming a special ash glaze. Simultaneously, the flame patterns within the kiln flow among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks. Following five days and four nights of ash and flame interplay, a week of cooling is required before a piece achieves its beautiful form! Because the kiln atmosphere differs with each wood-firing, the ash deposits and flame patterns on each piece are inevitably unique, making every item one of a kind! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567015104_1eec785177_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51567264535_7bd0037e60_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565533012_fdce6d65a3_h.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51566346721_2b98f539f8_c.jpg **3. What should our esteemed guests be aware of?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. As pieces are purely handmade, traces of the crafting process will be evident. Minor variations may also occur during firing, such as slight imperfections in the rim or small production scratches, which are normal and do not affect usability. We appreciate your understanding! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565533097_13ea71a377_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51565533012_219eca4133_c.jpg **4.
