❍ About This Piece From the bathroom sink to the work desk, we wanted to create a soap dish that is both truly functional and aesthetically pleasing. Through our own use, we gradually explored and refined the design. With a simple form and a touch of thoughtful detail, it perfectly holds a bar of soap and allows water to drain away effortlessly. It's not flashy, but it's genuinely practical. We chose terracotta clay, a material with a slightly coarse grain. While the finished pieces aren't as delicate as porcelain, they possess a natural simplicity and authenticity that you can feel and see. The surface may feature some variations in color, pinholes, or minor glaze cracks – these are not flaws, but rather the natural marks of its creation. ❍ Material Terracotta, Glaze ❍ Dimensions The soap dish is specifically designed for handmade soaps, measuring approximately 8 × 6 × 2.5 cm. Its size is just right, providing a stable place for your soap and making it convenient to use. (Each piece is handmade, so dimensions may vary slightly.) ❍ Craftsmanship Each piece is fired twice at high temperatures, ensuring durability. Occasional pinholes, natural glaze variations, or fine crack lines on the surface are characteristics naturally formed by the terracotta material and the firing process. As handcrafted items, the curvature and glaze distribution of each piece will vary slightly, contributing to its unique character. ❍ Packaging & Sustainability All our shipments are packaged using recycled bubble wrap and cardboard boxes. While it may not be exquisitely presented, for us, giving every resource a second life is the better choice.
