Our aesthetic education, from a young age, may have favored Western styles, drawn to more modern and striking designs and colors. I am particularly drawn to the freedom of ink; though limited to shades of black and white, it can express a myriad of emotions through variations in density, tone, and the dynamic flow of lines.
