These auspicious meanings are crafted using the intangible cultural heritage of Róng Huā (velvet flower) craftsmanship, which dates back to the Tang Dynasty. The word "Róng Huā" sounds like "glory and prosperity" in Chinese. Although this craftsmanship originated in the Tang Dynasty, Yi-You Cultural and Creative Industries has re-researched and standardized the processes. All traditional materials have been updated with locally sourced materials from Taichung, passing on this cultural heritage craft with sustainability in mind.
