Approximately half of each lustrous 10mm freshwater pearl is adorned with a refined scattering of colored silver leaf. The silver leaf is first meticulously broken down using a traditional bamboo tube with a mesh screen, known as a 'sunako-tsutsu'. Then, with the image of dancing cherry blossoms in mind, fine foil is delicately applied with a brush to create each piece. Unlike shell or resin pearls, these are adorned with genuine pearls, allowing you to enjoy a sophisticated, adult take on pink. The pearls are a slightly flattened button shape. As these are simple, single-pearl studs, they are versatile enough for both office wear and formal occasions.
