Each piece in the Forest Series is a pairing of various forms and lines found in nature, from the decay and germination of plants to their vigorous growth. The interplay between deliberate arrangement and intuition, and the layering of light and shadow with solid forms, is achieved through extensive practice.
Things are rarely perfect or successful on the first try. If it fails, we rebuild the structure and discuss with ourselves which aspect can be further refined. Time and again, we observe the plants and observe ourselves. We aspire to present with unhurried elegance.
Czech Moldavite was formed approximately 15 million years ago when a massive meteorite impacted the Earth's surface. The intense heat and pressure from the explosion fused the meteorite with surrounding rocks, creating a glassy substance resembling ocean waves. Moldavite was discovered in the Moldau River in Czechia, hence its English name "Moldavite," and its Chinese name is "Czech Meteorite."

**Important Notes for Wearing Silver Jewelry for the First Time**
◮ Avoid wearing silver jewelry while bathing in hot springs or swimming. The salt in seawater and the acidity of rainwater can slightly corrode metals and cause oxidation. Sulfur in hot springs can also cause jewelry to turn black and undergo vulcanization. If exposed to these substances, rinse the silver jewelry with clean water and dry it.
◮ Human sweat has a slightly acidic pH of 4 for antibacterial purposes. Prolonged contact can corrode metals and accelerate alloy oxidation. Our jewelry is not plated with other materials on the surface, making it more susceptible to corrosion and breakage when enclosed by sweat. However, **not everyone's sweat will cause breakage. If you have had similar experiences, please be extra cautious.** To keep silver jewelry looking new, it is recommended to wash off sweat after wearing it for the day, wipe it dry, and keep it dry.
◮ Products containing chemical additives can also cause silver jewelry to corrode.
Products with chemical additives can indeed accelerate the oxidation of jewelry.
Common examples include: skincare products, sunscreen, cosmetics, perfumes, essential oils, cleaning agents, chlorine in swimming pools, etc.
If you habitually wear perfume, it is recommended to spray perfume first and then wear your jewelry, avoiding direct contact between the jewelry and the perfume.
◮ Develop good habits for wearing and storing your jewelry.
Taiwan's climate is humid, and the air humidity is relatively high. When not wearing your jewelry, be sure to wipe off any sweat or oils with a dry cloth, store it in a ziplock bag to block air and maintain dryness, and store each piece separately to prevent friction and surface scratches.
◮ About the vulcanization of silver jewelry
925 sterling silver is prone to oxidation, turning yellow or black when exposed to air. This is a natural reaction of silver jewelry, similar to how pure silver reacts with hot spring water. Gently polishing with a silver polishing cloth will restore its original luster. However, in hard-to-reach areas like the gaps in a silver chain, the silver may appear slightly darker. Vulcanization is a technique where 925 sterling silver jewelry is intentionally oxidized to create an antique, aged, dark appearance, enhancing contrast and adding depth. This is more uniform and aesthetically pleasing than natural air oxidation, and the crevices do not require extra cleaning. Frequent wear, where the jewelry rubs against clothing, can help maintain its newness.
◮ About Us
To present the highest quality, each of our pieces is crafted through repeated inspection, refinement, and polishing. We do not allow any pinholes or imperfections. To ensure the toughness of the material, we repeatedly forge and hammer the silver, giving our jewelry a unique luster and texture.
Protective plating is highly likely to peel off with long-term wear, which can affect both the environment and the body, and it obscures the natural luster of silver. Therefore, our works are never plated.
We spend many times more effort on the details. If you happen to purchase one of our pieces, you will notice that its oxidation rate is significantly slower compared to most other silver products, and its luster is also different.
We hope you can find your own unique piece of jewelry here.
