Brass Care Instructions: Brass has long been a highly favored material for jewelry, known for its accessible price point and resistance to fading. However, like silver, brass is prone to oxidation. While some appreciate this natural patina, to prevent it, remember to: ♦ Avoid contact with water ♦ Store in a resealable bag when not wearing If the luster appears diminished, here are a few simple methods to restore your purchased item to its original brilliance. Please note that if the item is scratched, while the color can be revived, the original shine may not be fully recoverable (the matte, antique bronze finish is also very beautiful!). ♦ Use a toothbrush with a small amount of foaming toothpaste or tooth powder and brush as you would your teeth to restore brass luster.
