Undergoing multiple drying and roasting, the tamed whiskey-infused coffee beans release a rich aroma of berries and rum-soaked raisins, reminiscent of strolling into a late winter orchard.
During the initial brewing, the whiskey aroma is deep but not overwhelming, like a gentle and well-dressed man, exuding a smooth and bright roundness, as if you can see the charming smile lines at the corner of his eyes.
However, that's just the first impression. Upon tasting, you will sense the underlying Scottish whiskey, with its character of sea breeze and reserved demeanor, hidden behind the sweetened Brazilian honey-processed coffee.
In the middle of the taste journey, the liquor notes, malt syrup sweetness, and cherry chocolate aftertaste form the main body of the flavor. Upon cooling, scents of dried longan, honey, and lightly toasted wood emerge.
This is a well-structured and slender coffee, friendly and approachable, yet still carrying the captivating complexity of a charming gentleman.

"People who love both coffee and whiskey are usually more interesting."—Of course, that might be a bit biased. However, for me, it's a pretty practical bias.
The inspiration behind Haben Whiskey-Infused Coffee is to bring together the two most beloved drinks in human history for a perfect performance.
Combining whiskey and coffee is not unusual, but traditionally, the whiskey is added during brewing. Our Whiskey-Infused Coffee series, on the other hand, involves soaking the coffee in strong liquor before roasting, hoping to create more nuanced flavors through time and high temperature.
Throughout the soaking, drying, and roasting process, we had to select different origin coffees, appropriate liquors, drying levels, and roasting curves... In the beginning, we did face some challenges. The continuous development also filled our studio with bottles of various sizes.

This debut whiskey-infused coffee may not be everyone's favorite, but I believe it will be the Mr. Right for certain individuals.
Just as F. Scott Fitzgerald, the author of "The Great Gatsby," once said, "The stuff I write when I'm not drinking is pretty foolish"...
(It seems that writing, like love, is less effective when approached too rationally.)
Personally, I love to enjoy it when I'm working or seeking creativity. It's a coffee that awakens my mind, with just a hint of intoxicating atmosphere, feeding my inspiration.
