Based on a polychrome clay statue from the Jin dynasty held at Shanhua Temple in Shanxi, China. The black glass inlaid in the eyes appears to hold tears in the light, expressing a gentle compassion that continues to move viewers.
About Yanxidian
Founded in 2023, Yanxidian produces highly detailed replicas of Buddhist and Taoist statues created in China, including figures such as Guan Yu. The brand also transforms murals and two-dimensional artworks into sculptural forms for artistic appreciation.
Currently, its products are available only within China, with isumu marking its first overseas distribution. Yanxidian also undertakes OEM production for organizations such as China Post and Bandai.
