During the prolonged reduction firing of wood kiln, the glaze flows along these ridges and valleys, creating ink-like kiln transformations that blend the ethereal and the tangible, reminiscent of traditional East Asian ink wash paintings. Unlike the lightness of smaller cups, this "Still Flow" water container embodies a craftsman's spirit where elegance is found within its ruggedness. The rim retains the natural variations of hand-pinching, while the glaze transitions between deep ink, muted grey, and porcelain white, creating a dynamic interplay of colors.
