〈About the artwork〉
※ The findings and the base of the Kintsugi repair are reinforced with UV resin. Please understand that there may be slight resin overflow.
※ Depending on the artwork (e.g., translucent materials like sea glass or natural stones), the findings may be changed to silver. The material will not change, so please do not worry.
※ Kintsugi... A traditional Japanese technique for restoring ceramics that are damaged by chips, cracks, or breakage, using lacquer and gold powder.
※ We use new urushi lacquer, which is less likely to cause allergic reactions, and gold powder (brass powder), instead of traditional urushi.
※ As natural stones are natural, they may contain impurities, fine scratches, or small chips. Please understand that these are natural characteristics.
※ Please understand that variations in glaze are characteristic of handmade items.
Many Mino ware tiles, in particular, have such variations on their sides.
※ As individual sensitivities to metal, resin, and urushi lacquer vary, please refrain from using the product if it does not suit your skin and consult a dermatologist.
We are not responsible for any injuries or allergic reactions caused by the product.
※ The actual color may differ slightly from the image depending on your monitor, brightness, and screen environment.
〈Care Instructions〉
※ Please handle gently, as applying strong force may cause breakage.
※ Be careful not to rub the Kintsugi area vigorously or soak it in water for extended periods, as this may cause it to come off.
When cleaning, gently wipe away dirt with a soft cloth.
※ Avoid storing in high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight. This may cause discoloration.

※ Kintsugi (金繕い - Kintsugi) is a unique Japanese traditional repair method that joins broken or chipped ceramics using lacquer and gold powder. We use a simplified Kintsugi method, so instead of traditional urushi made from tree sap, we use new urushi, which is less likely to cause allergic reactions, and gold powder (brass powder). UV resin is also used for reinforcement.
