1- Local jade beads from Myanmar. Excavated from collapsed pagodas in the Mandalay and Bagan regions. Estimated to be from the 18th-19th century. The color bears a close resemblance to pickled cucumbers. Jade beads of this color were predominantly used as decorative gemstones for inlaying on Buddha statues, divine figures, and pagodas. The beads are remarkably intact. The local jade material is soft enough to be carved with a knife. 2- Complemented by two 5-line tiger stripe barrel beads, their patterns resembling tiger tail stripes. These beads exhibit characteristics of burial, such as crack fissures, surface cracks, internal weathering, and calcification and dehydration of white inlaid lines. 3- Two large-sized Talisman Prayer Beads from collapsed pagodas in Mandalay, Myanmar. Dating, based on artifacts unearthed alongside them, places them in the 18th-19th century. These are Talisman Prayer Beads in the form of rosary beads with drilled holes. Crafted from a copper alloy containing gold, though in low proportions. They have been cleaned to remove oxidation and patina. They appear bright yellow when photographed, but will oxidize and darken over time if not polished. The largest beads have an average diameter of 1.1-1.2 cm. These rosary-style prayer beads were typically part of a 108-bead set placed within pagodas... Due to the humid conditions within the pagodas, the original cords have long since oxidized and disintegrated... During the creation of Talisman Prayer Beads, cinnabar was melted together with the metal.
