What is the wood-firing process?** American clay, Japanese clay, and Miaoli clay are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-pinching (not on a wheel) to gradually form the shape. After basic shaping, the lines of the body are refined, then polished to complete the greenware. Once placed in the kiln, it undergoes a five-day, four-night continuous wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a special ash glaze; simultaneously, the kiln's fire patterns flow among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple fire marks. After five days and four nights of ash and fire pattern interplay, a week of cooling is required for each piece to achieve its beautiful form! What should esteemed guests be aware of?** The product color may vary slightly due to photographic lighting. The works are purely handmade, and will inevitably show traces of the hand-crafting process. There may also be slight variations due to the firing process; irregularities in the rim or minor scratches are normal and do not affect usability.
