※About the author
Rudyard. Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936)
Kipling spent his entire life sailing in the sea of words. His solid writing style and brilliant stories were attributed to his usual obsession with traveling and interviewing, and his passion for recording local customs and anecdotes. His footprints can be found in countries across Asia, Europe and America. While traveling in India as a journalist in his early years, he published six short stories, including the famous "The King's Avatar". Kipling's travel experiences gave him a deep understanding of cultural customs around the world, and he reflected this in his works. Reading his stories is like traveling around the world with the protagonists. He has therefore become the most popular prose writer of our time and is known as the "innovator in the art of short stories."
Anne. Anne Frank (1929~1945)
Anne arranged study courses every day while hiding in the secret room. In the process of studying and writing diaries, Anne also laid the foundation for her dream of becoming a writer or journalist. With her excellent writing style and delicate girlish mind, the diary records in detail her conflicts with her family, her self-reflection after growing up, her curiosity and affection for the opposite sex, and her longing for the blue sky and freedom after hiding for a long time, as well as her belief in world peace and equal human rights.
Helen. Helen Keller (1880~1968)
Born in Alabama, USA in 1880, she became blind and deaf due to acute brain cancer when she was one and a half years old. Therefore, for a period of time, she relied on her own sign language to communicate with her family. It was not until 1887 that she was enlightened by teacher Sullivan, under whose guidance she learned sign language and writing, and her inner impatience and helplessness caused by her deaf-blindness were soothed. In 1890, principal Sarah. Fuller taught her to speak, with the help of two mentors, Helen. Keller received formal education and finally completed his studies at Buddha University with amazing perseverance, becoming the first deaf-blind person in history to obtain a bachelor's degree.
