About the Utensils •Handmade, each piece is unique due to the different clays, glazes, firing temperatures and firing methods used. •There are many variables in the firing process of utensils, and the rim may be slightly deformed due to firing, which is a normal phenomenon. •The glazes are all hand-applied, with varying thicknesses, giving each piece a unique effect. • Occasionally, small pinholes, small bubbles, and small particles may appear on the surface of the glaze. These are not defects and cannot be returned or exchanged. •If the surface glaze has a crazing effect, tiny cracks will appear. When holding darker-colored foods, staining may occur, which is also one of the manifestations of the glaze color. ⸻ About small cracks •Also known as "glaze cracks", "crazing" or "ice cracks", it is caused by the different shrinkage rates of the ceramic body and the glaze. The cracks only exist in the glaze layer, and the body itself is flawless. •Some cracks will appear within a week after leaving the kiln, while others may not appear for years.
