Pendant featuring Black Obsidian and Clear Quartz. Small accent beads below are Black Obsidian. The wire is antiqued copper. Total dimensions (length x width, including lower pendant) are 62x27mm. This piece might be the most fitting for this year's "Peaceful Month" theme, in my opinion. I chose Black Obsidian with a prominent silver sheen as the protagonist, paired with double-terminated Clear Quartz. Every year around this time, we are taught to live with gratitude and humility. I've lived in several countries with Chinese communities, but I've always felt that the way people in Taiwan truly cherish this month is unparalleled. I believe that during this month, we are not fearing or guarding against the unknown, but rather understanding and defining our place in this ever-turning world. Therefore, when creating this piece, I encircled the main stone with flowing, smooth lines. The segments of different textures are like all the lives and souls walking and existing on different paths; though they don't intertwine closely or interfere with each other, they all operate according to their own ways and principles. The hanging double-terminated crystal is gently nestled into its sheath, following its natural shape, hoping that its sharpness is not overtly displayed but allows for clarity and serenity. ❖ Product photos are mostly taken in natural daylight.
