I originally didn't want to promote any animal-derived materials, but this significantly reduces washing frequency and the need for replacements, embodying sustainability itself. How could I be so rigid? It's less than the silkworm. Especially since methods exist that don't harm the silkworms. This is akin to the milk and egg dilemma.
